A train from Mumbai takes at least 30 hours and 43 minutes.
And if you take a flight:
Then 2h 25m from Mumbai. It is undoubtedly the fastest, but it can be rather expensive, especially if you travel during a busy season like October to January. So we took a flight from Mumbai to Delhi.Then Amritsar shatabdi express train (Anubhuti class) to Amritsar.One can also go by road from Delhi to Amritsar it takes about 8-9 hrs approx .
